So, three nights at home and then don’t we pack our bags again and head out for a fun night/morning in Halifax with Carla and three of her many sisters to watch the Royal Wedding!
Royal Wedding Hats
Carla did a brilliant job of scouring the Dollar Store for potential adornments for us. Many laughs were had as we experimented with one outlandish idea after another. Even more laughs were had when we watched the invited guests arriving at the wedding with hats that met or exceeded our standards of outlandishness!!
Really it was all about postponing our parting from Carla, our wonderful hostess in Tucson, our extremely competent and resourceful travel companion, and our utterly indefatigable chauffeuse — aka our very good friend.
But alas, all good things must eventually come to an end, and so also this blog. Thanks again to readers and well-wishers — we’re home and safe and finally starting to really settle in. I’ll let you know if I’m going to start another blog any time soon!
